Love the bees? Us too!

Before we picked up our first batch of honeybees, we spent lots of time learning about what's best for them. We wanted our working ladies to have great homes. We built our hives by hand. We picked out every piece of equipment with care. And we will tell you, whether you get one hive or 100, the excitement is the same!

The one thing we tell everyone interested in beekeeping is to learn first! Learn all you can. There are numerous beekeeping online courses, live classroom training, and books. There are SO. MANY. BOOKS. You seriously cannot learn enough about there amazing little creatures.

Find your local beekeeping association and go to a meeting. They are a wealth of knowledge and are always excited to welcome new members.

Still not sure where to start? We are happy to answer any questions but remember this, if you ask 25 beekeepers a question, you will get 25 different answers. We all have our own way of caring for our bees. The most important thing is that you care about nature, plants, and of course the bees!
